Cultural Activism
One of our cultural activism initiatives is to preserve and honor the legacy of the original Wax Trax! Records Chicago location. By working with the community and aligning with the city’s Historic Preservation Division, we were able to secure landmark status through the City of Chicago. This ensures that the iconic location remains a beacon of underground culture and a testament to the pioneering spirit of the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s music scene.
